Simchas Torah
Anyone who is careful with the joy of Torah on this day is assured that the Torah will not cease from his offspring.
(Yesod VeShoresh HaAvodah -The Eleventh Gate 16 – Rabbi Alexander Ziskind of Grodno)
And so, increasing joy, especially at the time when performing the seven hakafos, is a custom of the pious and people of deed to energetically dance and sing before the Torah scrolls with songs, praises, happiness, and joy. And it is a wonderful segula to merit him and his descendants to the crown of Torah.
(Pele Yoetz – חתן – Groom – Rabbi Eliezer Papo)
Additionally, Rabbi Daniel Glatstein, in “The Mystery and the Majesty” (page 409) references R’ Chaim Palagi, stating that “one who is zahir, careful, and makes sure to rejoice with the Torah on Simchas Torah is assured that Torah will never cease from his descendants.”
Conclusion: Dance well and rejoice with the Torah on Simchas Torah
